Sally may be the smallest member of Travel | Build | Repeat, but nobody has told her. A pure Toy Poodle born November 8, 2022, she weighs about 2.5 kg and travels Europe as though every hotel lobby, café and historic street was expecting her arrival. And sometimes it feels like they were. Sally has a remarkable ability to attract attention wherever she goes. People stop us on the street, ask to photograph her and occasionally create an entire little crowd around her. In places like Venice, the reaction became part of the travel story itself — sometimes we could barely walk a few minutes before someone wanted another picture. She’s naturally suited to fashion, beautiful hotels, pet travel, grooming, carriers, accessories and products where personality and visual storytelling matter. Put something beautiful on Sally and she doesn’t look like a dog wearing a product. Somehow, it looks like the product was made for Sally. But she’s also a real traveling dog. She rides across countries, stays in hotels and apartments, walks unfamiliar cities and lives the same constantly changing European journey as the rest of the crew. That means her content can be beautiful without becoming artificial — the setting and the travel are real. Sally is also very much Dad’s girl, and she knows it. Doug is her person, his lap is generally considered her property, and preferential treatment is simply something she has come to expect. Some dogs travel Europe. Sally makes an entrance.
Personality
Glamorous, affectionate, confident and just a little spoiled. Sally loves attention and seems genuinely confused when she isn’t the center of it. She’s happiest close to Doug, completely comfortable being admired and remarkably good at turning strangers into members of her fan club. She has the attitude of a much larger dog packed into 2.5 kilograms of curls. Elegant when the camera is rolling, opinionated when things aren’t going her way, and always ready for the next place where someone might recognize how important she is. Her philosophy is simple: if we’re going somewhere beautiful, she assumes she’s part of the reason. She knows she will lead the pack and she expects pictures to be taken and to be admired. It's just how it always goes!
